A strait is a narrow body of water that connects with two other body` s of water. A strait is formed by nature or it can be man made. At the tip of South America in Magellan is the only strait in between the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean. By nature and man made, the strait was formed. Many wars have been fought along this strait, because people want to control this waterway.
Furthermore, the strait s important because the shipping that people can send is like supplies and they can send food all around the world.
